There is nothing to be inherently ashamed of with a, "dadbod." You taking care of business on the home front, leaving you with less time for yourself sometimes. 

 

Family is important, as is your health and well being. However you want to be, look and feel healthy. 

 

You want to be able to outrun or outplay your kids till they are in their midteens - well kinda. You might not be that athletically gifted however you want to give them a run for all they worth. And oh let's not forget about the grandkids when they do come. You want to be able to play with them too. 

 

The time to get fitter and healthier is now, so later on you in maintance mode or still stacking those muscles if you wish. 

 

We do know that time is at a premium during the  day and later on, kids might have practice and such - so you might want get your workout in early before you start your day. 

 

That said nothing feels more primal like a 5:10 or 6:10 AM outdoor workout in the elements before the sun comes up. Time to do some hard shit before you go conquer the day.
